Morning Classes (Tues/Thurs & MWF Options)
The Tuesday/Thursday class is designed for 3-year-olds and offers a small class size of 14 children for a gentle introduction to preschool. The Monday/Wednesday/Friday class is ideal for older 3 and 4-year-olds, whether they are new to school or returning for another year.
Children enjoy daily opportunities for self-directed play, sensory exploration, creative art experiences, and fine/gross motor activities. Through purposeful play, they also build early literacy and numeracy skills, including letter and numeral recognition, phonemic awareness, and early problem-solving. Extended Circle Time further supports these emerging skills in a fun and engaging group setting.
Afternoon Class
(Pre-K)
This class is designed for those children who will be entering Kindergarten the following fall. Children should be age 4 prior to October 1st. Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 12:30 to 3:30. (On Friday afternoon, children bring a cold lunch)
Your child will enjoy opportunities for self-directed play, sensory and artistic experiences, body awareness activities through fine and gross motor development, develop social-emotional skills, expressive/receptive language communication, and small or whole group skill focus in the areas of literacy, visual/auditory perception, memory, science, and math.
Friday afternoon classes are specially designed to give your child direct instruction experiences and vocabulary that will prepare them for the Kindergarten classroom. Small and large group work will focus on number and letter formation, pencil/paper tasks, and many other activities to build confidence for growing minds.
