For more than 50 years, the Traverse City Cooperative Preschool has provided a play-based learning environment where children and families grow together. Our cooperative model fosters curiosity, creativity, and connection while inviting both children and parents to be active participants in the learning journey.

Our classroom balances gentle structure and teacher-guided activities with open-ended free play, allowing children to explore at their own pace while building social confidence in a supportive setting.

We offer morning and afternoon classes for 3, 4, and young 5-year-olds. Small class sizes and a 1:4 adult-to-child ratio ensure individualized attention, while flexible scheduling and an open-door policy welcome parents to stay and participate in the school day.
